self portrait shoot

It was simply a beautiful day today. Sure, there was a little wind, but the sun was shining, and the atmosphere was warm. I was supposed to be my friend's subject for a photo shoot today, but she had to cancel. I could not let the rare weather go to waste, so I attempted a self-photo shoot. It was the first time I'd done self-portraits, so thought I'd show you my attempt. Let me know what you think. I liked the shot without my head because I think you can focus on the image, the detail, and the subject and gather emotion from those elements rather than the face.
